Studio of the Arts (SOTA), established in 2009 by Creative Paradox a faith-based arts non-profit,  is a working art studio and gallery in Annapolis, MD. It is home to a collective of creatives passionate about the arts, community, and faith in Jesus Christ. SOTA is committed to encouraging artists spiritually, relationally, and creatively to create compelling works that glorify God and positively influence culture. This commitment is primarily carried out through the Residency Program. 

The Residency is a low cost program that works with Christian artists to help them reach specific creative goals.  Artists are accepted to the Residency program based on these goals. Artists driven in their medium toward a specific vision are encouraged to apply.

SOTA is also the premiere contemporary art gallery in the city of Annapolis.  The gallery exhibits the work of talented artists from throughout the Eastern United States. SOTA's gallery hosts a variety of events including openings, socials, special exhibitions, and live performances.

Finally, SOTA is highly committed to strengthening and furthering the arts in the city of Annapolis.  As the first arts organization to open in the newly formed “Annapolis Arts District,” SOTA compliments a city already rich in traditional art while broadening the city’s artistic offerings.
